CLOHERTY
Joe Cloherty is the youngest member of the academy team but don’t let that fool you into thinking he’s inexperienced.
Joe was first introduced to the game at the age of 9 by his dad who was a keen golfer and quickly started to enjoy the social and physical benefits of golf after joining the junior society playing weekly competitions and improving his game week after week. At the peak of his amateur career scratch player Joe represented the county competing in regular tournaments both within the UK and internationally, including prestigious wins in both Scotland and Dubai.
Since turning professional Joe has competed in county and regional PGA tournaments but largely turned his attention to a passion for coaching, specialising in junior coaching, and developing and delivering programmes to youngsters across the north west.
Joe is a familiar face to many of the regulars at Liverpool Golf Centre having been involved at the range and in store in the earlier growth of the Centre and we are pleased to now see him return as part of our expanding PGA Coaching team.
His passion for growing the game has meant, alongside teaching juniors is aiming to deliver weekly sessions to Ladies and Seniors keen to start or improve their game

Failed appointments and late cancellations deny other pupils valuable appointment times and the professional incurring teaching bay charges. We kindly request you give 24 hours notice for cancellations or the lesson may be chargeable or deducted from your current course or voucher.
Your purchase is a contract with the Liverpool Golf Academy instructor, we reserve the right to change tutor, lesson time and venue in the event of illness or tutor changing/leaving the venue.
