Tim, a natural sportsman started golf aged 10, joining Woolton Golf Club aged 14, he progressed rapidly from a 20 handicap down to +1 along with setting the Woolton course record of 62!
Turning professional in 2016 His impressive player career continued with many top five PGA regional performances along with 7 tournament victories including winning an Open Championship final qualifying event.
Alongside his playing career Tim has a Bsc degree in sports science whilst also nearing the completion of his final 4 year PGA diploma qualification covering every aspect of coaching, retail, equipment technology, sports science and more.
Alongside his ever popular Junior coaching at LGC he’s amassed a large band of regular students from 4 years individual coaching at Ford Motors. His passion for playing has assisted greatly in his coaching and swing research making him easily identify and correct errors made by regular golfers. Studying coaching philosophies and being around our other highly experienced resident PGA coaches has given Tim the tools to guide new and less experienced players to swiftly improve their techniques.
